Effective Foundry
An Effective Immediately Program
Ready to trade corporate playbooks for your own?
Most small business start-up programs are built around a launch date: do some light supporting research, put something out, figure the rest out later.
Effective Foundry covers two things that decide if a business is still here in a year: talking to real customers before you build, and knowing how you’ll run the business after.
The Foundry is a 9-week, structured, hands-on program that'll help you validate whether customers want what you're building, determine if it's financially viable, and create a lean MVP that helps you test, learn, and iterate without overspending. The daily commitment for this program is 2-3 hours a day.
You'll leave with:
A validated business concept, with a problem statement and named audience
A research protocol you wrote and ran, plus the insights that came out of it
A financially responsible MVP, scoped to what you can afford to build.
A practical business plan
An operational foundation to run your business
A flexible roadmap to guide your next steps
Along the way, you'll get accountability, expert guidance from people who do this work for a living, and support from a group of fellow builders going through it at the same time.
When the nine weeks are up, keep building and sharing in the Effective Immediately community.

This is for you if:
You’ve got an idea and want to know if it could be a business before you pour money into it.
You’re leaving corporate, or you’ve already left, and you want the business behind your idea to be sound.
You’d rather find out your idea needs to change in week 3 rather than month 9.
You want to learn a repeatable framework to validate your ideas and create sound, sustainable, and scalable businesses, products, or ideas.
It might not be right if:
You want to launch fast and sort the rest out later.
You’ve already got paying customers and an operation that works, and are not trying to launch a new product or service line.
You want someone to build it for you. You’ll be doing the work, with help.
You don’t have a starting idea yet.
