Email Sign-ups

When you sign up for the Effective Immediately email campaign we will use your email address to send you a series of six emails over six weeks and periodically in the future when we have news or resources that we believe are worth your time. If you opt-in for email updates, we’ll send you emails once in a while. You can unsubscribe any time.

Client Data Handling Statement

When you work with Friend Group, you share real information about your business. Here's exactly how we handle it:

  • What we collect: Name, contact info, and the business context you share with us during an engagement: audit responses, session notes, answers to pre-work questionnaires, and anything else relevant to the work.

  • How we use it: Only to do the work you hired us for. Your information isn't sold, shared with third parties, or used for anything outside our engagement.

  • Who has access: Just the two of us. Angela and Lindsay.

  • Where it lives: Secure internal systems, accessible only to us.

  • How long we keep it: Indefinitely, so we have context if you come back. We're not starting from scratch on your second engagement.

  • Your rights: You can ask us to delete your information at any time. Email us at bff@hellofriendgroup.com and we'll remove all personally identifiable details promptly. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for internal analysis - no names, no company, nothing traceable back to you.

Payments 

Payments are processed securely through Squarespace Payments, powered by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details - that's handled entirely by Stripe. 

This website 

Like most websites, this one collects basic analytics: pages visited, general location, device type, referral source. This helps us understand what's useful. It's handled by Squarespace, not us directly.

This site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. No tracking across other sites, no ad targeting.

The fine print

  • Third-party processors: Squarespace (site + email + payments) and Stripe (payment processing) have their own privacy policies that govern their handling of your data.

  • Email list: Managed through Squarespace. You can unsubscribe any time via the link in any email. We don't sell or share the list.

  • Massachusetts residents: Friend Group is based in Florida and complies with applicable state data privacy law.

  • California residents: If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under CCPA including the right to know what data we collect and request deletion.

  • Policy changes: If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date below. Material changes will be noted on this page.
